Hi Montego,
It's been a while since I've been here but I have a question about your feedback module. Where exactly can I download it? I've been getting tons of spam lately and I was almost to the point of turning it off until I noticed your module had a captcha. Is it possible to get a copy like yours or like Ravens? I noticed he has one on his contact plus module as well which I also like. Thanks in advance. Take care.

Chris, unfortunately it is not that easy. I would recommend migrating your nuke to RavenNuke, the latest version from Raven's site as the captcha is integrated throughout. This is what you are seeing here on this site. |

Montego,
Thanks for the quick reply! I was hoping that wasn't the case. I realized both of you were running Ravennuke just a few minutes after I sent the post. I will definitely have to think about that since I've been running 7.5 since 2005. Do you know of any other feedback scripts out there that provide a captcha for spam security? Thanks Tego!

BTW, going from 7.5 to 7.6 (RavenNuke) is what I did about a year back. It is one of the easier upgrades to make. But, I can certainly understand as if you have modded your site heavily, it can be alot of work.
Not sure of other feedback modules. What I would suggest is downloading RavenNuke and try and piece together what you need to take from it to get the captcha to work.
I just don't have time right now to do that for you. But, if you are a good "sleuth", it might be that bad. |
