Feedback module spam

Hi Montego,
It's been a while since I've been here but I have a question about your feedback module. Where exactly can I download it? Very Happy

I've been getting tons of spam lately and I was almost to the point of turning it off until I noticed your module had a captcha. Is it possible to get a copy like yours or like Ravens? I noticed he has one on his contact plus module as well which I also like. Thanks in advance. Take care. Cool

Chris, unfortunately it is not that easy. I would recommend migrating your nuke to RavenNuke, the latest version from Raven's site as the captcha is integrated throughout. This is what you are seeing here on this site.

Thanks for the quick reply! I was hoping that wasn't the case. I realized both of you were running Ravennuke just a few minutes after I sent the post. I will definitely have to think about that since I've been running 7.5 since 2005. Do you know of any other feedback scripts out there that provide a captcha for spam security? Thanks Tego! BTW, going from 7.5 to 7.6 (RavenNuke) is what I did about a year back. It is one of the easier upgrades to make. But, I can certainly understand as if you have modded your site heavily, it can be alot of work.

Not sure of other feedback modules. What I would suggest is downloading RavenNuke and try and piece together what you need to take from it to get the captcha to work.

I just don't have time right now to do that for you. But, if you are a good "sleuth", it might be that bad.

Just wanted to let you and everybody know about a great feedback script I found that is working great on my site. It has an image captcha for confirmation and is really doing the job well keeping the spammers out. Check it out at this site. Very Happy
