Hi montego...
got a nice question from a member...
as he was trying it out he bumped into something weird...if you create a newsletter how do you delete it after a few days....?
I know it goes to the archive but i looked at his panel and i dont see anything... |

There is an admin function called "Maintain Newsletters". Depending on which category you filed the newsletter under, you may need to change the category to see it, but then there will be a delete icon under the "Actions" column where you can delete it.
This will take care of both the file that is created for the newsletter as well as the entry in the newsletter table. |

Does it work in firefox?
anyway...i saw the images (view.png) in the category (url is admin.php?op=msnl_nls&cid=1)
but if you click on it it shows the newsletter in its preview (url shows modules.php?name=HTML_Newsletter&op=msnl_nls_view&msnl_nid=1)
And he and myself...didnt see any delete function,he uses IE i use firefox... |

What you are referencing is a system newsletter that is in the *Unassigned* newsletter category. You are not allowed to delete those. He/you must have chosen a different category to place the newsletter into. In the current category drop down, pick **Show All** and then click on the GO button. You should now see ALL newsletters including the two system ones. The non-system ones should have three icons: view.png, change.png and delete.png.
And, yes, this has been thoroughly tested on IE and Firefox (as mentioned in the readme. |
