Morning Guardian. I disable Live Chat but it didnt work. Any other suggestion?

Montego. I put my block on the right, on the left, on top but it doesnt show any content. it is complety empty.

When I put it on the center it works even with Live Chat block so I dont know why it is happening that. Thanks Guardian and Montego for your fast answer. See around.

Out of curiosity, what happens if you switch to a different theme?

And, can you post an image of what it looks like, with what is around it, here so that I can see it when it is on the right like mine is? Thx. Also, with FireFox, please select the block and do a "View Selection Source" and post the HTML here. Thanks!

I think hicux has now moved to Joomla as that is what his site is now using but wanted to just bump this to see if there were any new developments Wink

No... been working on the TegoNuke(tm) Mailer version 1.1.0 for RN3. I've been keeping my project updates on twitter. I do want this capability for my own site, so I'll eventually get to it. Was just extremely disappointed when Twitter changed their API policy with seemingly no communication (even their docs still elude to "app" authentication not necessary for this kind of get)... Sad Makes me question getting too tied in with an external service... hate that feeling, because I want to on one hand and not on the other.

Guardian is right, I put my site down to have Joomla but I got dissapointed with the speed and now bestbuildpc.com will have RavenNuke forever but these times we will only use the most important features and nice stuff.

Is it possible to add this jwitter on your block Montego?

Let me know because I reported already a very delayed issue with twitter. I can't use it on my site anymore. It is slowing down my site with 40 seconds or even more. Shocked

Sorry hicux, but I have not had the time to pick this back up. A shame too because I was using it as a good way for me to learn to build my own jQuery plug-in.

You have found a really nice plug-in there. When I first started working on this, I had done a search for a nice jQuery plug-in and at the time, this one didn't pop up in that search. It looks like its license would allow me to sub-license as GPL if I so choose to, so that is good (although I could still probably not have to sub-license as GPL as since it can entirely stand on its own - i.e., doesn't require *nuke to run). Nice find.

The problem for me is 1) no time to work it, and 2) my block was intended to also solve the search engine piece - SE crawlers will not crawl the JS built time-line and I want them to at least have a reasonable cached copy (say every 1 - 2 hours old max). I will not release the block again until I can satisfy both of these AND that I can satisfy Twitters' terms and conditions for apps.

Bottom line? Haven't a clue as to when I might get back to this. Sorry.

Wow! Very nice reply. Thanks and count on me to test the block. I wonder if you released that block already. I wanted to test it. I can't activate twitter anymore. Sad

Always appreciated and will definitely keep that in mind! Thanks.

Yeah, I was having a similar problem and had to revert back to only my basic JS block on the site here. Twitter went against its documentation and apparently are now requiring authentication even with just a user timeline get. oh well. I just don't have time ATM to track it down and fix. Sad

I pointed Montego to that a while ago. However it now doesn't work as expected due to recent changes at Twitter (OAuth).
