Hi Montego! Long time no see.
Tried your script out on a site where a guy was unhappy with the nuke newsletter. IT works really well, but there are some extra headers that appear inside the HTML as text just above the email when using a template - specifically the plain jane I believe.
They range from something like
in my Thunderbird email to

Any ideas - or is this specifically email/browser related?

Hey sting! Definitely long time no see! Glad to see you are still around.
Well, the first example you gave is the norm. The second example is showing additional headers that are added by the SpamAssassin tool. It adds these extra headers to each email that comes into a mail server that has SpamAssassin enabled so that you can, if you wish, add additional filtering based on these extra headers.
The HNL is definitely consistently applying the same headers when templates are used. |

Ok - so how do I keep them from showing up in the actual newsletter?
Probably something simple, but my mind is so focused elsewhere atm lol.

That is odd. I wouldn't expect them to show up in the newsletter. I've never seen that. I've seen where the email client has an option to show the full headers.
Oh, is this by chance being forwarded? I wonder if that is it. Not much I can do about it. The newsletter is going out with the right headers as far as I can tell and after its "on the wire"... |
