Download Profile: TegoNuke(tm) Approve Membership Lite 1.1.0Support for this hack has been discontinued starting with RavenNuke(tm) version 2.3.0. The new Your Account features in this version and above now makes this hack unnecessary.
This module/hack is an adaptation from Kenneth Arnold's very excellent Approve Membership module from http://www.ulsoft.scarbridge.co.uk. Why a "Lite" version? There have been numerous requests within the forums at http://ravenphpscripts as well as I had a personal need for such a "Lite" version with just the user approval piece, hence this was "born".
The features that are appropriate to this "Lite" version are as follows:
- Allows an administrator to approve membership applications.
- The applicant's details are sent to a pendingusers table and a notification email is sent to the administrator.
- A list of pending applicants is displayed to the administrator, who can then delete or approve as he/she thinks fit.
- On approval, the normal email is sent to the applicant with or without the activation link.
- The option is available to add a customizable message to this email.
- The option is available to include the activation link or not.
- The option is available to send a follow up email to an applicant. This email text is also customizable.
- The option is available to send an email to a rejected applicant. This email text is also customizable.
- Administrators can pre-approve email addresses and email domains and configure the actions to be taken by the module for semi-automation.
- Superusers can assign admin rights to the Approve_Membership module and the Pre-Approved email addresses page.

NOTE: This module/hack is for RavenNuke(tm) 2.2.0 (also known as 2.20.00) ONLY! It will NOT work with prior releases of RavenNuke(tm), nor with any other PHP-Nuke version or fork. Theoretically, it could be adapted for other releases, but I have no plans on doing so.
